Who you are dealing with

This website is for people who want to sell gold, jewellery, bars, coins or scrap. It is not a shop selling bullion to the public and it does not take card payment for a sale online.

Estimates are not a sale

The gold calculator gives an estimated figure based on the weight and purity you enter and the buying rate then in force. Stones, non-gold parts and unconfirmed purity are excluded. The figure is not a guaranteed offer and does not lock a gold rate.

A sale happens only after we have seen the items at 23 Hatton Garden, confirmed weight and purity, and you have accepted an offer. You may decline and take the items away.

What you must be able to sell

You must own the items, or have the legal right to sell them. We may ask for proof of identity and provenance before we buy. We may refuse any item, including items we cannot test, restricted materials, or items we believe may be stolen.

Jewellery with stones and collectible coins may need a longer inspection. The calculator never prices stones.

Appointments and photographs

Bookings are shown in Europe/London. You can reschedule or cancel through the manage link we send you, subject to remaining diary space.

Photographs help us prepare. They are not a valuation. Do not send images of other people or documents you do not want us to hold.

Payment

If you accept an offer, the payment method is agreed at the counter. This website does not complete that payment. Timescales are confirmed in person, not promised on these pages.
